Dr. Lyndon Irwin is a published author and experienced speaker on a variety of historical and genealogical topics. He has been a university professor (Missouri State University in Springfield) for thirty five years. His research topics have dealt primarily with a wide variety of historical topics, particularly those relating to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. His book, "There Will be a Wreck!" which details a great train wreck that involved passengers from across southern Kansas and southwest Missouri has been well received. He has also been a writer for the award winning big screen documentary, "The World's Greatest Fair" that has aired numerous times on PBS stations nationwide.

Lecture subjects and presentation possibilities are varied. He has a great deal of experience in the development of PowerPoint presentations and he provides all of his own technical equipment. Currently developed topics include:
